T.P.’s Especial (T.P. obviously standing for Tito Puente 😉 ) is one of Tito’s most glorious Latin-Jazz hits. It became an instant standard on many jam-sessions around the globe due to its sweet melody, relaxed tempo and it’s so much fun to play solos on.
In this Big Band version of T.P.’s Especial there is plenty of room for solos which change with some swinging Mambo’s.
All Latin Big Bands should have this one in there set!
