Description

If you live on planet earth and you are older than. let’s say, the age of 10, then you’ve probably heard of Oye como va!
Made world-famous by Carlos Santana in a typical Santana-Latin-Rock adaptation, Oye como va is actually credited to Tito Puente, although some people might argue that it was actually “borrowed” by Tito from Cachao’s 1937 hit “Chanchullo”. I keep myself out of that discussion because it’s a great tune and who cares who wrote it. Fact is that this tune is unarguably world’s most known chachacha to date. Everybody can sing along with the coro and it inspired millions of people to love latin music. Oye como va can of course not miss in our catalogue and here it is: in a Big Band adaptation made by myself.
Please note the many purchase options ranging from a single chart of the rhythm section to the full-blown arrangement.

Enjoy!
