This is a beautiful son montuno from 1991’s album “Caminando” by Ruben Blades & Son del Solar.
A brilliant collaboration between Ruben and legendary pianist/arranger Oscar Hernandez. Later Son del Solar continued as Seis del Solar.
Typically for Ruben’s music (Willie Colon might have contributed a tiny bit 😉 this track’s horn section consists only of trombones.
