This is a Puerto-Rican salsa version of the tune by the same name written by Polo Montañez.
Its really a crowd pleaser because many people came to love this song.
José Lugo’s arrangement is a killer and really transforms the song and throws it into the next century. He does treat the clave different to Polo which is at least surprising. But nonetheless it’s is always a pleasure to hear the amzing Gilberto Santa Rosa improvise.
