Description

Celia Cruz and Tito Puente released this smashing salsa-hit in 1985 on the album “Homenaje a Beny Moré”
Actually Pachito E’che is composed by Colombian Wolfgang Alejandro Tovar García better known as Alex Tovar who wrote the song as a Porro (colombian rhythm). The song became adopted by Cali’s football club “Deportivo Cali” as their Hymn. Listen here to the original version in a 6/8 feel.

Celia and Tito made it of course Salsa and it was a huge hit on the dance floor. The montuno swings by itself and it doesn’t want to end 🙂
Enjoy!
