Alexander Abreu, ex-trumpetist of Paulito y su Elite, is the mastermind behind Havana D’Primera, probably Cuba’s most spectacular band of the last years.
He doesn’t only write and arrange for his band, but he also sings 🙂 And he does a really great job. “Ony Ony” is written for all “hijos de Yemaya” and I’m guessing Alexander is one too.
His music is challenging for even advanced players, but is well worth the effort.
