I always had a favour for live-versions, they are so much more alive. This is most definitely true for “Naci moreno”. Beautifully arranged by Papo Lucca for the Fania All Stars and performed by Luigi Texidor. A great tune for the lover of salsa dura. The message: being black (or “moreno”) means being born from Rumba, so being inseparable from the musical heritage. Brilliant!
