The first part of the song is a newly composed song called La Libertad, the second one is named Comparsa, although it’s actually a cover of an older tunes called Camagueyanos y Habaneros that was released on the album “Mozambique” in 1965. Everything about La Liberated/Comparsa is special. It’s voicing’s the “New York” Mozambique-groove, the energy, the sound, the solos. Wow. It’s a true masterpiece!
