El Rey del timbal is Tito Puente’s signature song, his nickname being “El Rey”.
The arrangement basically structures around one big timbal solo which is finished off with a spectacular exciting mambo by the horn section. The arrangement offered here is a Big Band adaptation made by myself. Happy soloing Timbaleros! 🙂
