Description
Cinturita is a typically Boogaloo from Eddie’s album “Champagne”, released in 1968, right in the middle of the Boogaloo-madness.
I’m not really sure this Boogaloo-thing fits La Perfecta (Eddie’s band at the time) , but fact is, still today this tune works extremely well with the dancers. It has a apparently simple groove but it enriched with lot’s of breaks and nice Mambo’s.
I added a flute part and reworked the arrangement a little to fit my needs.
